Planning has been submitted for the design of a new rear extension to form an open plan kitchen area with snug. The clients brief was to extend the existing kitchen area and create an adjoining dining area, allowing the front of the property to serve as a larger family room, whilst also creating a new central hub the whole family to enjoy. 

The design proposal gives an open plan kitchen with island and adjoining dining area allowing for a more social, open space. Towards the rear of the extension is a family snug with bi-fold doors opening to the garden, allowing for light to fill the proposed extension.

By moving the kitchen area further back in the property, this has also allowed for a utility room, and downstairs bathroom to be incorporated into the design. Roof lights and a vaulted ceiling allow for the feeling of a much larger space with sky views all along the extension.
